Royal Windsor Horse Show

What a fantastic experience, absolutely loved being Royal Windsor Horse Show for the first time. Despite the torrential rain, it was amazing to be a part of it.

'Echo P' owned by Rachael Sheppard Jumped a brilliant round in the main arena foxhunter. An unlucky pole but what he has learnt since his last big arena experience has been noticeably. Very grown up and found things alot less daunting! 'Silver Lining' Owned by Claire Foster Took all the atmosphere in his stride... with the exception of a few un planned leaps of excitement! Going on to jump a great Foxhunter round with a 4 faults to be added. Not quite himself for the 1.30 but never the less a great show to have even been competing at. Thank you everyone for making it possible, at home and shows.

Bicton Arena and Shelford Manor

Wow what a crazy few days! Some amazing horses and fabulous owners, so many exciting things on the horizon!

The weekend Bicton Arena was pretty epic, jumping 3 horses in their 2nd rounds competition. Foxhunter with 'Silver Lining X', owned by Claire Foster jumping so well around a HUGE track! The biggest by far... including flying the open water! Newcomers 2nd rounds with 'Echo P', owned by Rachael Sheppard, loving the TopSpec grass arena and feeling on great form, learning lots and jumping with springs in his shoes! He too thought the open water was rather fun! 'Loletta' owned by Chloe and Karen Barlow having her first experience of huge atmosphere and by far the biggest track she has jumped. A new ride for me so still getting to know each other, an unlucky pole around a substantial 2nd round comp. But she could not have tried harder! These 3 all came home with ribbons and prize money across their classes at the show, from Newcomers to Foxhunter.

Time To Cavort Owned and bred by myself had a great show, he didn't touch a pole in any of his 5 classes and went on to jump a steady D/C in the 6yo final. Coming home with rosettes and money to add to his CV. Tango Blu owned by Irma Rosati had his first experience of a stay away show, it was amazing how he adapted to show life so easily and gained experience after every class. Starting with Discovery and jumping his 1st Foxhunter on the last day having just an unlucky 4 faults. It was amazing to have his owner there on 2 of the days to see her beautiful Italian horse she bred doing what he loves.

Sunday night saw a quick turn around after a casual 4.5 hour drive home from Devon to then re pack and get into eventing mode with 2 very exciting young horses. Off to Shelford Manor for the 5yo and BE100.

'CHF Archie' owned by Jane-Nen Blakesley-Grimes having his 3rd BE100 run. A lovely 33 dressage and a great D/C to finish on his dressage and place 4th. Feeling great and learning plenty! 'Confession Time' owned By Em Tweedie is turning into a bit of a pro, once again a very competitive dressage score of 26, putting his in 2nd by 0.5, A brilliant D/C to complete on this score to finish 2nd over all and qualify for the 5yo Championships.

None of this would have been possible without my amazing support team!! Both at the shows and at home. Having the horses look amazing and feeling amazing! THANK YOU!
