Gatcombe

A great day at Gatcombe Horse Trials with 3 very exciting Novice horses! 'Confession Time' owned by Em Tweedie only a 5yo is finding the upgrade to Novice an easy one. A great Dressage of 30, followed by an unlucky pole SJ and a super speedy XC to place 9th.
'CHF Archie' 6yo Owned by Jane-Nen Blakesley-Grimes did a lovely dressage with just one mistake but marked rather harshly in the section. He then went on to jump a fantastic D/C adding only a few time. This young horse has come such a long way in his first season eventing and is very exciting.

Lastly 'About Time Too' has certainly made a come back.  Jumping his 4th consecutive D/C. Previously an advanced horse but after a bad injury he then decided he didn't want to play but now hes very much had a change of heart and is absolutely loving his eventing! A 30 Dressage and a fab D/C.

Very excited for season 2020 with these 3!

Blenheim Palace CCI4*L

My favourite and most local event of the year! Both boys tried extremely hard in the dressage, Undalgo De Windsor did his personal best at this level scoring 37, a 13 mark improvement on his last test! Trendy Captain Clover was a total super star, his 1st 4*L and scores a 32. So happy with him, he is such a trier! On to XC day, with a big, bold track and plenty of technical questions...

What an incredible day of XC it was! Thank you to my 2 amazing horses both going clear around the 4*L. Thank you to Trendy Captain Clovers owners Milly and Antonia Kaye for trusting me with their little pocket rocket. Only a 9yo and he made his first 4*L feel easy. My own Undalgo De Windsor was his usual fiesty self and flew around his 3rd 4*L Clear.

Thank you so much to all my amazing supporters for their fantastic videos and photos. Some memories made today I will hold on to forever. Thank you to the whole team working endlessly to make days like today possible. My whole family being here and so many friends supporting made it extra special.

I had 2 very happy and jolly ponies on the final day that came out and jumped well over the coloured poles. Trendy Captain Clover having a unlucky couple but jumped well with his usual exuberance. What he has learnt this week is just incredible and still only a 9yo, who knows what he could do next year!Undalgo De Windsor came out settled, yet up for anything! To think this time last year was his first 4*L and he found the SJ all a little exciting having rather alot if poles. Then this year having a very very unlucky pole at the planks and jumping the best to date. HUGE thanks to friend and Trainer Angie Thompson for the last minute call up and coming to warm me up for the SJ. It was amazing to have you there!

What a brilliant week! What an incredible event, amazingly organised, so much going on, beautiful courses, the most lovely volunteers, officials and a fantastic atmosphere amongst the eventing family!

Thank you to my trainers, physio, farrier, vet and sponsors for all they do for me and the horses.
