Gatcombe

Imperato and Creeslough in the intermediate class, both rather glad to be out again and ready for the run. Imperato did not do his best test but scored a sub 40 and certainly made up for this in the jumping. He really picked up his toes jumping an almost foot perfect SJ round adding just one pole to his score. Ginny was pleased he made XC feel as easy as ever, the combinations riding smoothly and he felt amazing picking up 14 time faults to finish 15th.

Creeslough did a really smart test for a 30.5, jumped a fantastic clear SJ but rather naughty in the XC water on the way home, after being brilliant he took a dislike to the raised rail on the mound picking up expensive faults! Naughty Pony

On to novice day...

Shannondale Sparky and Greenlough Dave both went well around Gatcombe novice.

They both did nice tests, and Ginny has found the help from Ian Woodhead's dressage session a few weeks ago really is helping. Still working progress with both boys but they are feeling much more connect.

Greenlough Dave scored a respectable 30.5, and Shannondale Sparky 34.5, although rather disappointed with his mark as he felt fantastic and really showed off in his mediums.

The show jumping was rather spooky but did not phase either of them and they jumped brilliantly, both going forward to XC on their dressage scores. The ground was great and it was a lovely track so Ginny pushed them both for the time and they loved it- both coming home clear inside the time!

A very good day at the office, clever ponies!
