End of Season Round Up 2025

Ginny Howe

23 Oct 2025

What a super season it has been on so many levels!

From the young horses starting out and learning the game, to the more experienced ones stepping up a level and new rides fulfilling their goals and more.

It certainly has been a season to remember, all of which would not be possible without their wonderful owners, the amazing team working with me, behind the scenes and at shows. And my truly loyal sponsors and supporters.

Thank you!

CHF Ballyturn Cruise has taken things all in his stride, learning his job with some bumps along the way. A very green and wobbly young horse that loves his jumping. Competing at BE90/ BE100 showing so much promise for next year once he has time to grow and mature into his ridiculously scopey jump and huge paces.

6yo, Double Time FW

Chanuck Z made the step up to Novice early on in the season at Barbury and has gone from strength to strength. Being a stallion I have taken the slower route in producing him. Though he has all the scope and talent to step up again, we must keep it fun for him.

Multiple wins at BE100 and a 19 dressage. Placings at Novice on his last run.

8yo, Galileo Skywalker

A super new ride for me this season, Galileo Skywalker was previously ridden by owner Allegra, who I also teach but due to her education commitments I’ve been lucky enough to have for the season. Starting out with a novice run and making the step up to intermediate an easy one.

Multiple D/C at this level and a very special D/C in his first 3* S at Cornbury.

A super run at Osberton, with a lovely test and a copy book XC clear in the 3*L, sadly ended there after not looking 100% before Sunday morning trot up.

8yo, Primitive Funtime

Primitive Funtime is a new ride for the season who I have spent time getting to know, building the partnership and developing his strength and technique when it comes to the jumping. The patience certainly paid off!

Some great runs at Int level and a super 3*S at Aston. Followed by his first 3*L at Hartpury, jumping a brilliant Clear XC with just one unlucky pole.

Osberton saw him consolidate his 3*L form, a PB dressage for him, a super XC despite 11 pen for a pin, he then came out to jump another super SJ round on the Sunday. Gaining his 4* S qualification for 2026.

8yo, CHF Captain Jacob

Where do I start… this not so little horse, is all grown up. I really couldn’t have asked for more this year. He is growing in to himself and is a superstar. Placing in his intermediate runs, giving foot perfect XC rounds at 3* and advanced level. And finishing with the most amazing D/C at his first 4*S at Blenheim.

Dressage boot camp this winter to develop his flying changes and lateral work after his holiday. So excited for what is to come next season with him.
