Coaching

Alongside running TeamGHE, competing at a high level and managing a successful breeding programme, Ginny takes enormous pride in her professional equestrian coaching. She works with a talented mix of up‑and‑coming young riders and amateur riders competing at grassroots level, delivering tailored coaching that supports long‑term development and confidence in the saddle.

With a positive mindset, an experienced eye, and genuine enthusiasm for the sport, Ginny focuses on improving rider technique, performance and confidence - helping every rider achieve measurable results while enjoying their training journey.

Ginny coaches riders across the full spectrum of the sport, from amateur grassroots competitors through to established international British Eventing professionals, bringing the same level of care, clarity and commitment to every session. Her experience at the highest level of the sport, including accompanying a regular pupil as a Coach to the CAC Games in Barbados, underpins a coaching approach that is both aspirational and grounded in proven performance.

Specialising across all three phases of eventing, Ginny’s coaching is focused on building strong foundations, confidence and long term success:

Dressage: Emphasis on accuracy, suppleness and improving the horse’s way of going, developing correct engagement and harmony.

Show Jumping: Building confidence, consistency and an understanding of distances, helping riders trust the process and enhancing results in the arena.

Cross Country: Prioritising safety, rhythm and accuracy, while equipping riders with the tools and confidence needed to ride positively and effectively on course.
