West Wilts and Shelford Manor

Busy busy but loving it!

All Ponies in the prizes at West Wilts...

Straight back from Hartpury and a re-pack ready for West Wilts with exciting new ride Imperato on behalf of Josie Brettell and Jan Cottam, Kings Command and Eyesnosebest.
Ginny's first run on Imperato and what a cool little horse! Josie has done such a fantastic job with him, he did a good test in the ON of 34 followed by a pretty perfect double clear to finish 11th in his section.

Kings Command competing in the BE100open also went well completing on his dressage score to finish 6th. He is FOR SALE and will make a fantastic schoolmaster for an amateur or teenager.

Eyesnosebest was competing in her first novice and she certainly did it in style, scoring her personal best dressage of 31 followed by a double clear to not only gain her first BE point, but to be placed 9th!

Shelford Manor

A day at home and then back on the road again this time with Watch Me, Worldly Wise, Greenlough Dave and Killinick Lady Rose.

Greenlough Dave was having his first run in a good few months in the BE100open, he managed to contain his excitement scoring 34 in the dressage, an unlucky rail but a fab clear XC for 4th place.

Worldly Wise owned by Josie Brettell and Jan Cottam improved on her dressage score from last time for 32.5 in the BE100, and went on to complete on this by going double clear. She was placed 2nd in her section which was very exciting!

Watch Me owned by Gillian Partridge did her best test to date and scored 29.5, and following this up with a great double clear to also finish 2nd in her section.

Lastly it was the first outing for the lovely grey mare of Hayley Gregory's; Killinick Lady Rose in the BE90, you have thought she had been eventing all her life, she scored a respectable 33 dressage and went double clear. Sadly she had to run HC due to Ginny's over qualification, but she would have been 4th.
